  They were extremely helpful with setting up the equipment that was given to me. They have a vast knowledge of all the programs that are used. They were very punctual and they kept the sessions interesting with short breaks so that I remained focussed.

  My experience with the supplier was very good, good communication and responded quickly to any query. My Trainer was really supportive, and I wished my trainer was a lecturer at the university because my trainer explains thing in a way that i can understand, and I am now more confident than I have ever been with my writing and I can see a marked improvement. The software is really suited to my needs, and my trainer took the time to identify how I work and had a good understanding of my academic needs, so I would get the best out of the software. Though the software is brilliant my tutor was even better, there are lots of good product on the market, but if I am not able to understand how to use it then it is no use to me. I am not very good on the computer and this support has given me confidence and the whole experience has been very positive. Thank you for all your support and help I am now more confident than ever than I can achieve my degree, where as a few months ago I felt that I may not make it.

  I've been using assistive technology to fill out this form, it has helped my grammar and the speed of my work. My first piece of coursework that I used assistive technology on saw a noticeable increase in my grade. My first primary source essay resulted in a 58. Whilst using assistive technology on my second essay I scored a 65. I have enjoyed my training sessions and they have been incredibly helpful, my trainer helped cover all the important and interesting possibilities of the assistive technology.

  The equipment can within good time, items that were on back order arrived without an issue. The person that delivered the equipment and set it up for me before leaving. Training was prompt after delievery, however had an issue when it came to second training, however this was sorted out brilliantly by my new trainer. They were wonderful I feel like I learnt a lot of new things with the software from our meetings.

  Learning the software has made my studies more enjoyable, and now, the thought of writing an essay is less daunting. I find it easier to organise my ideas, and am much more productive in research. The trainer was great, supportive, and I felt comfortable asking about any issues I had with the software. There was a perfect balance of short breaks and training to keep the meetings from becoming too tedious.

  All training has been useful. The trainers have been knowledgeable and very easy to get along with. It was nice to know that you didn't have to focus entirely on the work and technology. It was more relaxed but in a good way. I can see the things that I have been taught being very helpful in my university studies and future work.

  My experience of the service provided by Iansyst has been extremely dissatisfactory. After being assessed as entitled for DSA in October 2012, SFE instructed me to use Iansyst to supply the hardware and software I had been recommended. On placing my order with Iansyst I was allotted a date and time for the equipment delivery and software training. However, nothing was delivered on this arranged day and Iansyst did not call me to explain or apologise why my scheduled delivery did not happen. This meant the software training I had booked later that week had to be cancelled. On calling Iansyst to find out what was going on, they rescheduled delivery for the following week. Yet, once again, my equipment was not delivered and my rescheduled software training also had to be cancelled again. This time Iansyst did notify me that the delivery would not be taking place, but this was with extremely late notice. Iansyst rescheduled my delivery and software training for a third time. Finally my equipment was delivered. However, but when the technician opened the box to set up the equipment in my home they found that only half the equipment. The box contained all the hardware items, but none of the software they were due to be install on my desktop computer. The technician called Iansyst about this error and they were not sure why it had occurred, but offered to send out the software CDs in the post. I should also add the my software training had to be cancelled for a third time because I still had none of the software. A week passed and I had still not received the software CDs in the post. So, I began calling Iansyst to find out what was going on. I found it impossible for someone to take up my case as every time I called I was told the support team I needed to speak to were busy, but they would call be back. None of my calls were returned. After a month had passed and I had still heard nothing from Iansyst (despite my persistant calls) my university disability adviser had to get involved. Today I finally received one of the software CDs by post - over a month after Iansyst had promised to send it! I am still waiting the rest of the software to arrive and so am also still waiting for the software training.

  I was pleased with all the equipment i recieved and the way it was set up. My trainer has been extremely helpful in teaching me how to use all my software and had sound knowledge of it all. They were very friendly and i felt comfortable with asking any questions. They were patient and willing to keep going through everything until i got it. I learnt alot about the software and more!   The trainer I had was very helpful and paced all sessions just right, allowing myself to gain a lot of knowledge on the programmes. This enabled me to instantly be able to use them, for my work, and didn’t have to wait for all the sessions to be completed. It was a relaxed set up to the training which I liked, meaning it was easier to learn. Also the trainer never made me feel uncomfortable, whether it was because I didn’t understand something or when talking about areas I struggle with in my studies. The equipment and the software I have now been trained in is really helping me with my studies and assists me a lot. Thank you.

All the things the trainer taught me as been helpful with university studies and has made me feel more relaxed when starting essays.   The initial supply and delivery of the equipment was very good (and the trainer was helpful) and the alerts were helpful when setting up and reminding me of training dates. My trainer has been excellent. My trainer has simplified and taylored my training to suit my needs at the same time as being very friendly and approachable. I went at my own pace which was very important and I did not feel foolish when I had to go over things more than once. The software is so useful and I feel confident that it will continue to help me in my studies and beyond. I would not hesitate to reccomend Iancyst to others.

  Very grateful indeed for all the equipment supplied by Iansyst, my only caveat to this would be that some of the ancillary equipment (mouse, keyboard, plug adapter) is very cheap and nasty so think improvements could be made there for the money they get to supply the kit. Training. The trainer I was assigned was always spot on time, very knowledgeable, very clear with explanations (and patient) and also made sure that I understood what was being taught and a very pleasant person which helps. Good communications by telephone and electronic kept me up to date with appointments and information. A very worthwhile experience form which I gained the knowledge to use the supplied tools.
