My assessor was great. My assessor gave me so much time, understanding and articulating the problems immediately, and suggested really helpful interventions which was beyond what I expected. I am so pleased I reached out for help. This support will make a critical difference to my getting this degree. Thank you!

My initial contact and assessment went really well - initially so I thought. Clear Links was my recommended supplier and Salford allocated me 6 hours study skills whilst the interim paperwork was processed by SFE-DSA I received the study skills provided and paid for by Salford university via clear links. I then got a call to say I had been allocated the wrong support and it should be mentoring. They changed my support mid way semester with no advacne warning or reansiton support. I then have had to had to communicate and navigate through 3 different bodies to try and resolve this and get the correct- entitled support I need. This is very stressful and confusing for someone with learning difficulties like myself. during this process I found no one to be taking responsibility and found myself having to question, organise, correct and claify the support. I have now discovered 7 months into my course I was allocated incorrect type of support alongside incorrect allocation of hours. Apparently 36 hours of support will last me 3 years of a BSc Social Policy degree whilst having an enduring neurodevelopmental brain condition and learning difficulties, This process is NOT good enough for those whom like myself are already marglinised, have barriers in accessing education and then find they have barriers in not only attempting to get the right support after paying £660 for an assessment to discover it is incorrect and I am now left trying to sort this mess out myself, whilst trying to write assignments and facing exams - shocking and very very poor practice and service.

Amazing service! The team are extremely helpful and understanding! Would highly recommend if you suspect you have a learning disability to get in touch with them, it’s no where near as scary as you might think

I had my assessment yesterday and just wanted to say how brilliant my assessor was. It was a daunting experience being newly diagnosed with my condition and I wasn't sure what to expect. The assessor immediately put me at ease and couldn't have been more reassuring or understanding and had lots of knowledge of my condition that allowed me to think through the equipment that would make life much easier when my course starts. I would highly recommend the Manchester Assessment Centre to anyone needing support assessment, it's eased all of my worries considerably and I can't thank them enough.
